The perfect storm. Summer 2015, I experienced a huge storm in the valley of Sankt Johann im Pongau in Austria. It is a typical phenomena which happens often in the late afternoon of a tropical day in the Alps. The balcony of our appartment formed a perfect shelter against the heavy rains and dangerous lightning. All pictures are taken with the 24-70 mm F2.8 lens, aperture F16, shutter speed 20 seconds and ISO 100. Because of the darkness, no filters were needed to have the long required shutter speed.
