My version of Riomaggiore at national park Cinque Terre in Italy was chosen as the winner of the Dutch "Summer picture" contest in 2019. I needed to come back 4 days in a row to capture the best sunset together with this famous village.

"April doet wat ie wil....", a Dutch saying decribing the unpredicted changing weather in April. This windmill shot is a typical example of such a situation. A storm in April and the unique moment of the sumbeam opening the sky for just a few seconds. This image was published on the front page of the regional news paper.
