The Aurora Borealis, better known as the Northern Light or Polar Light. It is without any doubt the most magical natural phenomenon on planet earth. In the last few years, we traveled every winter to either Iceland, to Norway near Tromso or Lofoten Islands. One year, you are lucky, another year it is a disappointment. Clear sky and high solar activity are hardly predictable. All pictures are made with the Nikon D850, the 14-24 mm F2.8 lens, a shutter speed of around 10-15 seconds and ISO 800-3200 depending on the activity.
